Winning is all that matters to so many gamblers and when they are not winning, it makes them start to gamble with emotions so that they can make sure they win back all they lost, but they forget that while gambling, they don't get to choose when they win or lose. Like you said, no body is happy for losing but regardless it's not wise to start chasing losses, when a gambler doesn't win after wagering some money many times, best choice is to take a brake for the main time.
Once a gambler begins to focus on making money from gambling, it leads to addiction and trying new possibilities just to make sure they continuously take profits. A responsible gambler will forfeit the benefit of constant profits, enjoy the fun, and be able to bear the losses whenever the bets fail. We generally look happy when we win, but at what expense?

Even if you must consider the money making aspect of it which is still not bad, but you must not make it a top priority and perhaps betting can be a bit more certain (not really certain) but somehow not worse than gambling which the outcome is based on randomness and not based on prediction. If you want to make money consistently, get a job or start a business.
If someone takes up gambling to win consistently or to improve their financial situation, then as a result, that person's financial situation will be affected only negatively with a kind of certainty. Those who consider gambling as a means of earning money, their financial future can be very terrible. Gambling cannot be a solution to any problem, or it cannot change the financial situation positively with certainty, what we usually see is that those who are addicted to gambling, most of the time they only face losses through gambling, 99% of addicted gamblers face huge losses through gambling. Therefore, gambling should be seen only as a form of entertainment, you must keep your perspective correct, if you see gambling with the right perspective, it will definitely not harm you.
