Some lessons are more expensive to learn than others, that is for sure and I think those lesson and the money one can lose is more important to share our identity as gamblers when we are still new to this world and could consider ourself novice gamblers.
It is not the same kissing all once money while being a novice gambler than suffering the same after already having some experience in the subject and being able to control ones feelings of regret and resist the urges to chase those losses.

In my personal case those lessons were not too expensive to learn, they only costed me about some dozens of dollars and made me more of a mature gamblers, which in the long term it will help me to save money, or at least lose it at a lower pace.
