Arsenal was more or less good in the Champions League only because they gave up in the Premier League. Next season they are playing in the Champions League again, do you think they will give up in the Champions League to win the Premier League or as always they will fight there and there and end up as always without trophies? I don't think so, they have a solid squad and now with the addition of Zubimendi in midfield and Thomas Partey contract extension, they can go far to win it. I always say they're one striker away from winning a major tournament. If they can wrap up deal for recently linked Gyökeres, they will sure have a chance. They had Kai Havertz who missed chances they created for him last season. Nothing is impossible to achieve, they just need to be more ambitious.
Not only need new players or strikers but I think Arsenal need to fix the team's mentality and that is a very difficult task because as we know that in the last 2 seasons Arsenal's performance has been very strong but their problem is always the same, which is inconsistent towards the end of the season and that is inseparable from their weak mentality when competing under high pressure for the title.
If Arteta is unable to fix that, I think Arsenal next season will also be the same as the last 2 seasons, they will only be a shadow of other teams without being able to win any trophies.
