This will be headshaking because if America enters this, Russia will also enter and this might become the beginning for world war 3.

Russia is already bogged down in Ukraine, they couldn't save Assad from a bunch of rebels on Toyotas, do you think they could take on Israel too?
There will be no WW3, nobody wants to defend Iran. Just like Palestine, behind politics, everyone in the Middle East hates them. So, who is going to help Iran? Saudi Arabia? Turkey? Pakistan? Nobody will move a muscle. Behind all their declarations to appease their Muslim population, they couldn't be happier to see the Iranian regime fall, everyone in the Middle East hates their proxy wars.
There will be no WW3, and if one starts years from now, it won't be because of Iran or Israel!
They are going to bomb eachother for a while, say they achieved whatever they proposed, go back to "peace", then bomb again eachother a year from now and eveyone will just get tired of it and don't give a damn anymore.
They are just condemning the action done by Israel done to Iran but they didn't have plans to send troops because they have strong bonds on this country.
I also believe that they won't join and try to lower down the tension thru help what they could provide on both countries. Maybe for now we won't see the world war 3 to happen and hoping that we won't reach unto that point since the only affected in this situation is the normal person and those official who start this will just wash their hands and act like nothing happens.
I also don't like to bet on this option since its hard to take sides especially that there are people got affected on this situation. But hopefully as you said they get tired so they would stop this crazy attacks they made.
