How about in a situation where you are placing your bet on virtual (one of the popular games that people like playing in local bet shops), and the screen is always faced in front of everyone to see you make your selection as the cashier prints your game?
I hate this part deeply. And people will always look above your shoulders without pretending about it to see whatever you're doing. Honestly, I don't like that type of camaraderie. I know bet shops are often crowded but I think some bettors should be sensible to know when they're invading other people's privacy.

Like you asked what I would do in such a situation, I would avoid going there next time. I would choose a less populated place to patronize. I remember those days when I used to stake on the old football pools where elderly folks played. I would choose pools houses with less people sitting in them. Then patronizing such places was judged as being irresponsible.
