So stablecoins are here to stay and USDC adoption will be all over the world.
Seems like OP was onto something as we have seen that news of stablecoins being adapted to uber. We will soon see stablecoins being used everywhere addressing the challenges of banks but not exactly diving into world of cryptocurrencies. Fiat particularly US dollar might just grow stronger and more dominant.
That " something " must have been said there already, although maybe you are right that the Uber X stable coin thing have pushed him more to come up with a thread like this. I think stable coins are still based on the traditional money ( fiats ) , so if one has an issue, it will only be shared on the other but this will be the reason for the cryptos to be considered more as currency use. That sounds better isn't it? They are the real ones that will become more stronger and not the US dollar. There are still stable coins that are decentralized, I think they are the ones which value can grow over a dollar. I'm only saying that they might still survive.
