You know, Monaco already qualified for next season's Champions League, so huge expectations upon him if he joined Monaco. Another thing is, after leaving Le Havre, it is high time we see Pogba in any France club, with this team he could stake his spot for France's 2026 World Cup squad.
Yes, Saudi club might offer big wages and a less intense competitive environment, where Monaco is offering a chance of getting back his legacy with top level football. So Pogba is betting on rebuilding his legacy rather than cashing in.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Pogba on the big stage in the CL again next year. If he manages to fulfill his potential and play like he used to, I'm sure many teams in Europe will regret not bringing him in.
