...... and I think that betting on a war in which innocent children are dying, or even talking about it, is not good behaviour at all...
I agreed it's weird and disgusting placing a bet on issues like this as it involves human lives and we should show some empathy instead of taking advantage of the situation to make money or have fun. That should be totally discourage and condemned. I don't think I will ever involve myself betting on issues like and even if I do (99% not likely to happen) I don't think my conscious will allow me to spend the money if I eventually win.
That being said, is it that bad talking about war? I see no problem discussing about wars unless the discussion is either a mockery or attempt to intensify the situation.
Death is normal occurrence in war so in the talks about betting on wars I am neutral as I don't see it negatively if the gambling is about the country that will join the war. But if they bet on the number of deaths, that is, for me, a very disgusting betting game.
I hope that the war ends instantly because it is not only the Middle East that will be affected by this turmoil, it will surely have a domino effect, a very bad domino effect on the economy of other countries who are not involved in war if it escalates.
