Don't you think that if you share your winnings with friends or anyone you know, they may feel jealous of you. Sometimes when they see that you have won a lot of money, then you may ask for loan or help and that is sometimes frustrating because we earn for ourselves, we have our needs and it is not possible to help other always. If you deny them, they may get offended or stop relation with you. That's the reason i usually do not share my wins.

However, I don't mind sharing losses, as then I get some sympathy from my near and dear ones and no one asks me for money  Wink

It is not always the case that as soon as you tell your friends that you won money through gambling, they will immediately start asking you for loans, although that possibility should not be excluded either. I believe that in every person’s circle there are people with financial problems who would not mind borrowing money.

I remember a story told by a man about how his business started growing very quickly and he began earning very good money. He did not hide it, and as soon as his relatives found out, quite a few people appeared who wanted to borrow money from him, because he was so lucky and therefore they believed he should share it with them. Some of these people did not even plan to repay the debts, because they thought, that since he was lucky, he now owed them help. That is why I believe it is better to stay modest, and not talk too much about your winnings.
