Is that any better. Any exchange can collapse, and that is not the only risk you face when you have your funds in many exchanges, they could confiscate your funds for whatever reason, and then there is a risk of data breach, take note that the risk is higher when you have given multiple exchanges your personal information.
Yes, any exchange can collapse BUT they all won't collapse at the same time. There's a reason that adage, "don't put all your eggs in one basket" exists. Again, I don't just register on any exchange that springs up. I run through them, starting with their Trust Score. I never had an account with FTX even though I was using its Blockfolio app to track coins and monitor my portfolio. It was a very great app. Oh, I miss that now. There was something about that exchange I couldn't place a finger on that didn't sit well with me then.
