Footballers play in very intense match schedules. They get tired enough in their own leagues and European cups and I don't think there is a need for tournaments to make them play extra matches. As we saw in this match, there is a huge difference in quality between the clubs and this is not good for either team.
Teams do not rest enough and play matches constantly. This causes us to watch teams with quality differences play each other or teams that do not show their real performance play matches to pass the time. I think some tournaments should be removed and teams should be allowed to rest.
