I doubt a club the size of Tottenham would back Levy even if they sign a group of players that excite the fans. They want Levy out and maybe want ENIC to sell their shares to someone else that can run the club better.
I could not recall the exact circumstances surrounding Alan Sugar therefore searched. Sugar sold 27% of his shares for £22 million to ENIC in 2001 and then 12% of this remaining shares for £25 million to ENIC in 2007.
They want to force him out, same way they did to Alan Sugar? I mean Daniel Levy company literally owns 83% of club stakes unlike Alan Sugar who had only 27% stakes when he was made the Chairman. Tottenham is not fan owned club so it would be difficult to push out the owner.
Maybe signing Mbeumo and Jack. G from Manchester city could calm some nerves.
