Because of being a centralized service, ChipMixer's, Whirlwind's and Sinbad.io's downfall was no surprise.
They are centralized as they run central server. A decentralized mixer needs not to run central server but depend on several nodes across the world which will be difficult to be taken down by the government.

Not only that, though there is precedent for decentralized mixers to be classified as privacy protocols, thanks to the Tornado Cash saga.

It is a shame that the administration and influential members of this forum did not stand by the pillars of decentralization and privacy, otherwise innovation might be happening for decentralized mixers.
