I love the fact that he absolutely has nothing again to prove so it's for the money now and enjoying his football as well. He has won almost everything in football and has left his legacy in the sands of time that can't be erased. Football history will forever have Ronaldo in it's record. I think I know the record Ronaldo is chasing now, which is the millennium of goals and I'm sure he will achieve it before he retires.
You are right because Ronaldo has achieved everything in football and now it is time to enjoy the times before deciding to retire. It is better to chase 1000 goals for individual achievements in football because he will be known as one of the most productive players. If he stays in the Saudi Arabian League then he can earn more money from his salary and I am sure that clubs in Europe will have a hard time paying high salaries for a player of his age.
For some teams in Europe it is better to consider buying more productive players at a young age so that they can make long-term moves for the players they recruit, rather than bringing in Ronaldo just for short-term business reasons of making a profit.
