In poker, yep I get it that if you're skilled enough you can win but sometimes that skill is to play with that luck given to you. It's like how you can adapt to certain situations and that makes luck play a big important role in different types of gambling. You're already playing in a table where you don't know what the outcome is, and that luck of yours is where you'll receive a good hand or not. But real skill shows in how you manage those weak hands, not just when everything goes your way. Skill helps you survive and make the most of what you have, but luck is always in the background, shaping the direction of the game, the point is no matter how prepared you are, luck will gonna fck that up.

In poker luck can also play a big role. Even if you are a very skilled player but you keep getting bad cards while another player keeps getting lucky it will be very difficult to win. You can take risks but against good cards no experience will help so luck matters in poker too not as much as in slots but it still has a significant impact. In slots you do not even want to test your luck because probabilities matter there as well and even if you are a lucky person it will not help you win since the odds are simply too low.
