I think more people should focus on it, taking risks without thinking about the actual benefit is like stepping into a storm only to feel the rain, In gaming specifically you see it all the time. People pursue action or the idea of being savvy by betting on safe odds that barely offer anything back. But what’s the point if even when you win you gain almost nothing. It becomes more about feeding the habit than chasing a real outcome also risk should have purpose. If there’s no substantial benefit behind it, then it’s not strategy it’s simply noise.
Many bettors don't think of actually the benefit of what they do. What's the risk is all about and what is the effect of it to them afterwards.

We don't know what's in it for the next bets that we do and yet, we still take the risk because of the potential win and greater reward that we might get.

Every time we gamble, there are risks already. The experience we get from that makes us a better person and can do things that requires risk easier because of what we've developed through gambling.
