I have to ask; how do you control or manage your emotions while gambling?
Tbh I don't think much when I am gambling. The entire point of gambling for me is to get away from the stress and yeah playing the game itself is tense because money is on the line but I don't have many thoughts while gambling. I'm happy when I am winning and angry when losing but it doesn't translate into much of anything once I stop.
Do you gamble when you are emotionally unstable or you just distance the gambling site until you are emotionally and mentally balanced?
Sometimes, like after a close loss or a stream of bad losses, I do take a break and stay away from gambling for a while because otherwise I end up depositing more than I wanted to and eventually losing it.
This is also the reason why I prefer slots over games like dice because slots are relaxing and more fun than the traditional games. Yes they are much more costly than low-edge games but again it's all about having fun.
