If you are a motorsport fan and a marvel fan, you must have been excited to see Tom Holland (Spider-man) be at Le mans this weekend. It got me thinking how many fans he has and how many could have been curious and influenced to get into Le mans or motorsport in general. It seems like Tom Holland really is a motorsport fan as he was also seen in a formula 1 race before.

Anyway, this makes me wonder if celebrities like Tom Holland who likes to attend sporting events for his own enjoyment affects the popularity of the sport. In the same context, does celebrities like Drake who also likes to gamble for his own enjoyment influences his fans to do the same? Have you ever checked out a sport or betted on a team because of your favorite celebrity?
I'm not a motorsport fan and I have no idea what Le Mans is but I know who Tom Holland is and because of him, he created a thread, I saw that thread and I checked La Mans. Now I know what La Mans is. What does this mean? This means that Tom Holland's visit to that sports event introduced this sport to many people, including me.

I have another example. I didn't know what UFC was before Conor McGregor's and Khabib's fight. Because of Conor, I know what it is but a few years ago many people didn't know what it was. Then our fighters Ilia Topuria and Merab Dvalishvili became champions of UFC and today every Georgian knows about MMA and UFC. The influence of celebrities over people is huge and it shouldn't be underestimated.
