Chelsea won the group D match against Los Angeles FC by 2-0. Pedro Neto had the first goal in the 34 minute and the lead was converted to two by Enzo Fernandez in the 74th min and it was the obvious that Chelsea can’t lose from that two goals lead. Flamengo and Chelsea both got a win in their first matches.

A bit disappointed Chelsea was not scoring a lot, but happy with the way they played the game. LA FC was not their match, and i think they will be topping the group easily. They have only Flamengo as their toughest opponent in this group. But i think they can beat them easily considering how big the gap in the team's quality between them and Flamengo.
It'd make no sense if if they lost to the LA and deserve the blame. Only hope Maresca will able to give minutes to all of their young lads in this qualifier phase. .
I guess the final table will be
1. Chelsea
2. Flamengo
3. LA
4. Esperance
I honestly believed for a moment that Flamengo could have a bad result against Espérance... The team is currently the best in Brazil, but it keeps wasting clear goal opportunities, in other words, it has a serious finishing problem, even with striker Pedro back... now it's a matter of waiting to see the result against Chelsea, which so far will be the most important match of the season for the Brazilian club.
