It takes lots of guts to take over a team that's actually playing win one game, draw two games and lose three games before winning again. That was the situation Manchester United found themselves and Amorim left his winning Sporting side in Portugal to England to catch a depleting team. That's enough guts for me, yes the team ended up badly but for the benefit of doubts I personally didn't judge him because he didn't start with the team and didn't also buy the players.
Ruben Amorim failed to improve Man United in the Premier League last season. But yeah, we can't blame Amorim because he just started with an existing team that might not even suit his coaching style. And now in the player transfer market, Amorim has been given the opportunity to rebuild Man United to be even better by changing the depth of the Man United squad itself. And Amorim is definitely busy now bringing in the new players he really needs. And some players will definitely be released. Especially players who don't fit into Amorim's desired criteria. And in the new season we will be able to assess Amorim's performance. We'll see whether he succeeds or not. But I personally would probably like to see Amorim succeed.
This season I see Amorim has not found the right composition of players, proven by the fact that he often dismantles players in the starting line up. At first, the changes were quite visible, but it was only temporary because they were not consistent.

Now is the opportunity to build a team, but will management be willing to spend a lot of money? Because they also have unstable finances at the moment, so if they are too bold, it is also risky. Because if their finances are destroyed, it will make them even worse.
