No matter who he had, no matter how his players weren't fit for his style, no matter what ended up happening, we are talking about a guy who had the worst start of a managers career ever in United history, that is a bit for his to be blamed at least.
This is why we can't really say he is fully blameless for this season. Should he deserve a chance to continue? Of course, he should continue one more year, in fact, no matter what happens this year, unless they are in relegation zone, he should keep one more year, with whatever player he can get for next season, but that's it, no more, just one more year.
