I agree with that. Even computer or gaming addiction affects the schooling of a student. I am actually an example of that. I repeated high school because of my addiction to console games and computer games, but somehow I crawled back to reality and went back to school.
The difference is that gambling addiction is way expensive. It can actually ruin the education of a person, and it can also ruin their entire life. If not corrected, it will definitely be a chaotic future for them, and it will be difficult to recover from it once all the savings are gone and there are debts piling up.
