Manchester united is a capable team, but there were some things which needed to rise positively to make the team successful. And also need to make some decisions wisely. Because you cannot always hide your mistakes behind the bad luck. Bad luck exists sometimes in performance and sometimes in time but overall the performance can't be concluded just because of bad luck. However Manchester united changed their coach as well to improve the performance of the team. This shows their concerns that they try to make changes from thoes points they think they are week. And the fans are also interested about the players that how the management spend on players.
For Manchester United to get better next season their needs to be lots of changes, first off a lot of players needs to be sold of as fast as possible including the current goal keeper Onana, well they've tried to get Cunha buy it's barley enough, I see that they're trying to sign Mbeumo but they should make haste about it especially now that Tottenham is out of the race, also if they can try to sign him then get a good central attacker and goal keeper and a holding Midfielder as backup I think their would be more improvement next season. Manchester United would be playing Arsenal in their opening game, I believe that would force them to hasten up in the transfer window, although it would be a little tough to offload some players but they could reduce their fees to a fair amount and get them out so Amorim's preferred players would come in.
