All of european big clubs who have been linked to the Gyokeres are so reluctant in buying him. It's all due to the his non sense asking price combined with his wages. Even no official bid came to him. Unless he will able to reduce his salary, and ask his current club to reduce his clause. He may not be leaving from Sporting in summer.
Sporting seems to kill Gyokeres' career to develop, they set a very high price that is not commensurate with Gyokeres' quality so it is natural that no team is interested in bringing in Gyokeres.
Actually there is no proof that Gyokeres because he did not play at the highest level of European competition even though he is 27 years old which is considered the peak of a football player's career but Sporting should have set a reasonable price to be negotiable.
Buying Gyokeres from Sporting can be considered as a gamble. He has £85m, 27 years old and played in portuguese league. No doubt the big clubs may be going to the striker that's cheaper than him. He must be patience enough waiting a club that is willing to gamble £85m for unproven striker like him. It's a very risky bet for sure.
The better he ask his team directly regarding his release clause. I think no club is keen on spending so much money just for 27 years old striker.
Even Arsenal goes to the Sesko instead of him.
it will be painful if he gets no new club at the end of window transfer.
