Thailand now is making a move allowing tax exemption for gains in crypto,
Has anyone ever paid these taxes before?

Does this only apply to Thai citizens or tourists (why should tourists pay taxes in a foreign country?)?
this will boost crypto in their country, but with the exemption should only valid if the gains are done on exchange approve by their government.
I wouldn't call it a boost, but an attempt to "move" cryptousers into their
"stables" exchanger.
The scheme is simple: 1st, they cancel taxes - move everyone to their exchanger - after some time, when all users have passed the KYC, they return the taxes. As a result, all cryptousers are in plain sight and government
"cut their wool" demand taxes.
They also have plans to allow tourist to spend using crypto, this is very exciting as some people want to use crypto as payment.
And there is nothing surprising about this, because with the help of crypto they can get an increase to the country's budget.
What can you say about this move of Thailand?
I can say that any country makes moves towards crypto not for the sake of all of bitcoiners, but only for its own benefit.
