Most of us probably don’t believe that it’s possible to be profitable in sports betting. That mindset alone already closes off any opportunity to earn, so it’s hard to argue with people who don’t believe. On the other hand, there are people who truly believe they can win, especially in the long run. and that’s the mindset we need if we want to take sports betting seriously and make it a long-term journey.

Both sides have their points: some don’t believe, and others do. We just need to respect each other and never say it’s impossible to be profitable in gambling, because if you think that way, maybe gambling isn’t for you.

The thing you are missing from this whole equation is that even if you are a master of sports betting and able to pick out winning, high value plays consistently, you are still having to transact with bookmakers who offer the odds. Those bookmakers are constantly evaluating player accounts via automated algorithms and manual reviews, they simply don't have any interest in keeping players who win money. Once they have identified you as a successful player on their site, you'll get an email saying that your account has been restricted and there is no going back from that point. Where previously you might have been spending $10k a day, they'll place a restriction that means you can only place $100 - meaning your earning potential evaporates. You will be able to cycle through dozens of bookmakers doing the same process, but eventually all your accounts will face the same outcome.
