If you are thinking like this and you want each of the family member to solve their problems with your help, you're going to be their dependable relative.
But would you take that every time they have a problem, they'll run unto you? let them solve their own financial problems, you're not always there for them.
Though if it something reasonable of course I wouldn't Mind helping them out, but that doesn't mean that I will always be there whenever they need my help. And if it is someone who is reasonable, he won't be coming everytime to seek for help from me, because I also have other responsibilities to take care of. I would use myself as an example, sometimes I will be in need of something but I can't open up to anyone. Because i wouldn't want to bother anyone with my problems, I can decide to wait until I finally get what I want. everyone has a responsibility to take care of, so anyone who choose not to help in this situation will not be considered as a bad person.
