Arsenal are a strong team, but they have failed to reach the top due to lack of consistency. Their biggest problem last season was their attack. They failed to score goals regularly and many matches ended in draws. I think if their attack had been a little stronger, they would not have drawn 14 matches and they would have even surpassed Liverpool in terms of points. Maybe in the coming season we will see Arsenal being more aggressive and they will emphasize more on being consistent.
For the past several Seasons now Arsenal been starting very well but along the line the declined, this is serious because I believe by now they should have solved this issue but it keeps occurring every season, who knows last season will be there final season of playing in that manner. The timetable has been set and it not going to be easy for arsenal first five matches, which they will go against the following opponents both home and away, which are
Manchester United (A)
Leeds United (H)
Liverpool (A)
Nottingham Forest (H)
Manchester City (H)
This games will not going to be easy for them and they seriously have to get it right this coming season,
Due to Arsenal's ability to decline during the end of the season, I think that this hard start up fixtures for them is a good thing. It will definitely help them. If there is how they will play all the hard fixtures in the beginning and middle of the season when they used to be very energetic and strong, it will make sense.
Tnks will enable them to meet weaker teams towards the end of the season when their performance normally reduces. I don't know if anyone else is reasoning this from my own perception.
It is also good that we should understand that almost all the teams in England now are very strong. So, we might be lying to ourselves if we think there are easy fixtures.
