Manchester United was better under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson and when he was there he ensured that the team has the players that is willing to represent the team but when he left everything changed the team no longer has the quality players they used to have and the management of the team has done little or nothing to salvage the situation so I think the owners has failed in restructuring the team because if they want to do that they would have gotten a better coach and players to rebuild the team.
Honestly I am not even sure if it was about Sir Alex Ferguson or not. That could be the reason but it may not be the reason neither. What we are seeing right now is the fact that Manchester United has been worse, so even if Sir Alex Ferguson took over today, either he would be terrible as well, or he would take years and years until he fixes the team, there is no scenario where you give SAF this team and make it be better this season. Hence, we are not going to see things change at all.
What we would change here is the fact that United is mismanaged by the whole team, and we are going to see is them doing bad as long as these are the owners. When INEOS took over, people had hopes but that didn't really made the team any better neither.
