it's like that old quote
hard work beats talent when talent don't work hard
but at the end of the day we have good days and bad days
a really skilled player could have a really bad day (let's say he walked below some stairs before going to play or saw a black cat) and end up losing it all even if he plays skillfully
we shouldn't ignore luck, it exists, we just shouldn't base our future on the dice rolls, better to trust our skills
true, you are wise to say something like that. Talent does not work hard but working hard helps you gain skills.
I don't believe in innate talent either, i believe in qualities that you have, let's say, naturally, but if you don't develop them you achieve nothing.
luck doesn't exist at all, there's no point in relying on it
I agree with you, we can never say whether luck will be with us or not, so it is never reasonable to do anything over excess depending only on luck. Nothing is possible without luck, but luck will not come to you like freely, you have to earn that luck, and to achieve luck you need skill, patience and hard work. You have to always work hard to improve your situation, if you just sit around and do nothing hoping for luck, luck will never come to you, so keep working hard without expecting anything miraculous, only then you will be able to achieve luck.
