Personally, I think the European teams are holding back on this competition, it doesn't look like most of them are all-in in it....
In the games I watched, I did not really notice this. They may not be giving 100%, but I would say they were given as much as 75 in those games, which is good enough considering their last competitive matches are not that far back and some may be jet-lagged.
I should mention that I have not seen many of the games played and only check out some highlights
Does anyone else get an ick with how the players are called on to the pitch individually before kick-off? I do not think that has been done before in any competition.
