Gambling addict has been a problem of most gamblers. Most gamblers started simple but end up becoming an addict. This develops gradually until they become fully addicted. Gambling addiction progresses are in three main stages: the winning stage, the losing stage, and the chasing/desperation stage.

Winning stage: Gambling addiction starts off with the alluring winning stage, where everything seems perfect, and you are winning more often than you are losing. It's easy to get hooked at this stage, because of the thrill of winning, and the gambler still believes that they are in control. However, this stage is usually short-lived.
Losing stage: Losing stage follows after the winning stage. Here, you start to lose significant amounts of money, but since you know what it’s like to win, you continue to gamble, believing that the next win must be just around the corner.
Chasing/desperation phase: This is when you have lost so much money that you will do anything to win it back. This may involve lying to friends and family members, borrowing or stealing money in order to gamble, and chasing your losses. By this stage, it is extremely difficult to quit, since the gambler is in so much financial ruin that they are desperate for money.

CONCLUSION: Gambling may be a great problem if adequate measure isn't take. One should just to observe himself/herself for necessary changes in case one observed he/she is gradually becoming an addict.
And in conclusion to this, the only solution for a gambler not to get addicted, is for him/her to strive to remain a moderate means of gambling, whereby he continues gambling after he may have won consecutively 3 times while thinking it is his lucky day, or continue to chase loses after he may have gambled a certain sum and lost it all or neither borrow money to gamble with the hope of winning and paying back, which could literally lead to depression if you are unlucky enough and lost the money to gambling. Because the truth of the fact is that gambling is a game of luck, and as such, the only and best approach to follow it is to gamble with an amount you are willing and could afford to lose at all times.
Gambling addiction starts from the day you start gambling because without starting to gamble there will be no win because the mindset has always be to win and not to play for fun, but you start chasing your losses if you don't win instantly, and in some cases, after winning because of greed you want to recover all you have lost previously without knowing that they will keep on losing until all their money is lost, that is when they will realize that they have lost all he had.
Gambling addiction needs to be monitored so that you don't fall into the addictions stage because it is not easy to come out of it .
Addiction is mainly common among those that do not set their limits both on cash and time also not knowing when to stop gambling either in winning or losing stage.
