As far as awareness, someone going to have to keep an active scam casinos thread(there is 1 I'd just have to search to find it) or keep bumping this thread every few weeks. Both scenarios don't really mean that a reader or potential player would open either thread and read though.
I don't think there is a need for active scam casino threads since it's pretty easy to find these scam site threads within this forum with a simple google search if customers are willing to do their research in the first place.
For example, 1xbit abandoned their operations within this forum a long time ago, but their scam discussions within this forum easily appear on the first page of google search.
It's possible that users will do their own research but not likely. If you look through the scam accusations section we are always seeing scam accusations pop up regarding lesser known or unknown sites. People are lazy and just deposit to sites they find. That's not our problem, but nothing wrong with trying to stay vigilant and having info readily available.
I do agree though that if people just took time to search, they'd be in a lot better positions.
