I doubt we'll see much over time. It seems like the forum administration is helping certain people milk it for all the profit that can be made and that bitcointalk's clock is limited, rather than there being a focus on doing things that will help it thrive.
Satoshi would not be proud of where this forum is today, I am certain of that.
The forum fits into the narrative of regulation implemented by governments, especially by the US government. Aside from the mixers that have been kicked out, after closing eXch, I'm not sure how many real no-KYC services there are right now. It is certainly very far from the basic idea of Bitcoin.
