Gyökeres is a quality player. Of course, Sporting Lisbon wants him to be transferred for a very high transfer fee right now. Because other Portuguese teams like Sporting Lisbon are constantly moving in cycles to sell players and to add better and younger players to the team. Real Madrid rejected him because he did not suit their style of play, but on paper he looks like a goal machine. Maybe he will be transferred to a Premier League team, but I think they will ask for a very high transfer fee for a 27-year-old.
Rejecting does not mean that the player does not have quality, but Xabi Alonso sees Gyökeres as not fitting into the game plan he implements in the team. Now Arsenal are the frontrunners to get the player's signature because they have submitted an offer in the range of €65-70 million. The problem is that Gyökeres still has a contract left with Sporting so Arsenal will have to pay a fairly high release clause if they want to recruit him. Manchester United are also reportedly interested in Gyökeres but so far there is no clarity regarding his future.
