I don't know if PSG is serious in the Club World Cup, but for the fact that they beat Atlético Madrid 4-0 in their first match, I was fully convinced PSG could beat Botafogo, but I was shocked when I checked the score of the match on LiveScore and I found out Botafogo beat PSG. You are not the only one that lost money yesterday. I played PSG to win in my first bet, and in my second bet I played PSG over 2.5 goals, and PSG didn't win, nor did they play over 2.5 goals, which made me lose my money.
Same here, I think I was even more shocked than you. I woke up this morning and checked livescore for the results of the match being played at 2 a.m because I was asleep and couldn't watch. I saw the result and I was dumbfounded because I never dreamt of Botafogo beating PSG. The irony of this was that, the only goal of the game was scored in the 36th minute and throughout till the game ended, PSG couldn't respond by equalising at least.
Who would have believed that the winner of the UEFA Champions League trophy and the current champions in Europe couldn't score a goal against Botafogo? It is like I will stop playing European clubs in my games because so many European clubs aren't performing well in the Club World Cup competition.
After finding out that the participating money for the competition and also the prize money is huge for the to be winner. I just wonder why these European teams are really not serious about the competition, it's definitely not a coincidence that these top clubs are not performing well or is it that it's still the group stages. But you need to win in other to qualify for the other stages. We all watched this competition in the previous format and saw how these European teams performs, as well as my memory can serve me, the only time an European team lost the CWC was in 2012 when Chelsea failed to win it and since then, it's been the European team winning it.
