Ivan Juric's record in the Serie A teams he has been manager shows that he didn't make much impact to those teams and apart from Roma which is a big team in the Serie A, the other clubs of Genoa, Hellas Verona and Torino that he coached are basically small teams but no favorable records in those teams, what about Southampton where he was coach before coming to Atalanta, he didn't even have a good performance there as all he did was to send Southampton to relegation. I don't know what the management of Atalanta saw in Ivan Juric that made them hire him as manager until 2027, they should pray he doesn't bring disaster to the club.
Atalanta have been a competitive club in the Serie A for few seasons and despite their minor challenges last season they still managed to qualify for the Champions League after winning they won the Europa league title in previous season, instead of signing a coach that have no quality track record in his managerial career, they should have sorted for a better coach.
