- Diversify your assets. Don't invest all you have in a single asset.
In as much as every investment has a loss and profit, it is important that the investment is diversified. Diversified assets can help in reducing risk because different assets has it's own season that they perform well, whether and economic changes can affect or profit some assets.
When you diversify your assets and the season doesn't favor one at a particular time, the other assets that are in favor of the season will cover up for your loss at that moment and this will help you to manage the risk of loss.
Yes, that's right. Diversifying our investments is very important, what OP has written in this topic should be a lesson for us because asset diversification is important to minimize losses that we do not expect. Sometimes we love or are too sure of one asset that makes us blind to other assets and then put it in only one asset, this is very dangerous if we have this mindset. For example, although bitcoin is a very fundamental asset, even said to be a valuable asset in the future, it does not mean that all assets should be put in bitcoin. So don't put all your money in one investment asset, even though the asset is a good asset for the long term. However, you have to spread your investment to various types of assets, this is useful for reducing the risk of loss that may arise if one of the assets experiences a decline or disaster as conveyed by OP.
Imagine if we also made the same mistake as OP said, it would make us stressed. Indeed, property investment is good but if we only invest in one asset and the place is also the same, when a disaster occurs we will experience a big loss. However, if you also invest in other assets such as property, gold, and bitcoin, your losses will be more limited. So, diversification is very important, so that it will create a stronger investment portfolio and be ready to face various challenges that will occur in the future. This does not have to be with large capital, even in small capital we must learn early on to get used to diversifying assets.
