The four-day game is still going on but the first innings of both the teams are not over yet so it is pretty much certain that neither team will be able to complete their two innings in five days on this wicket. This match is almost certain to be a draw. I understood the behaviour of the wicket a little when Bangladesh managed to post a big score against Sri Lanka in the first innings and the behaviour of the wicket became clear to me when Sri Lanka started batting in their first innings. There is nothing special about the wicket due to which the bowlers are not getting any advantage and the batsmen are able to play short with ease. The kind of wicket that is made for this Test match should have scored more runs in Bangladesh's first innings on this wicket. However, for now we are assuming that this Test match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be a draw.
Right now Bangladesh is leading the score by 75 runs and I think this time they should try to play fast becasue it is the second last day and still Sri Lanka one more innings is left.
So according to current condition, the match is going to be tie but if Bangaldeesh would play fast and they belive on their bowlers that after getting the lead of about 200 runs they should declare the innings but still in this case, they have problem that we have seen their bowling attack in the previous innings. so in short, most probable to see the result we need some miracle from either of the team.
The fifth day of play is underway where Bangladesh have managed to add 237 more runs to the scoreboard in their second innings and they have lost only four wickets. If Bangladesh bat for a few more hours now, it will be seen that there is little time left for Sri Lanka in the second innings and it will never be possible to bowl out a team like Sri Lanka in that short time, especially on this type of wicket. Looking at the current state of the match, there is some indication that the result of this Test match between Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka will be a draw.
Even if Bangladesh declares the innings before scoring 300 runs on this wicket, it will still not be safe for Bangladesh because in the second innings, it may happen that the Sri Lankan batsmen have batted in ODI style and won the team by getting a low target. So Bangladesh must want at least a draw in the match.
