is buying the dip all about making short time profit? as far as i know, buying bitcoin dip and Hodl is for long term profit an not buying at $102.3k and selling maybe at $103k at current rate or maybe at $108K. this statement does not portray the real meaning of buying the dip and hodling but of course trading. but even is you decide to sell of course i am not against it since bitcoin investment is an individual journey and everyone is oblique to sell at will including short time interval.
The shorter the term the little the profit. Buying the dip is best when the goal is long term. I will rather do a regular business that will fetch me more profit on a short term than invest in Bitcoin for a short term profit that won't be enough to settle a major bill. Imagine buying bitcoin at a good price only to waste the investment by selling at a slight price increase whereas the potential of making more than 400% in the future is possible but impatience resulted in selling for just a mere token.
If it's not long term investment then I won't be wasting my time and emotions on the market. The volatility of short term investment isn't worth it, I rather wait and get the full rewards for my patience.
