Many of us may think otherwise, but it a known fact that the banking sector had been striving with the cryptocurrency space for a long time unfortunately, there seems to be a continuous loggerhead or some misunderstanding by the banking sector.
Now to avoid being left behind, banks need to find a way to embrace this technology, coparete and treat it as a friendly technology rather than an enemy. How can the banks get involves in cryptocurrency fully?
In my opinion, i think the banks can offer interest bearing crypto accounts, others ways. Your thoughts
I'm not sure banks find it difficult to get into crypto, in fact they are one of the best placed businesses for knowing how to set up a deal and how much to pay. I would say that many banks are often quite far behind when it comes to technology though, so they may struggle with integrating it with their current systems. This shouldn't stop them if they had interest, because they could purchase a company outright and even keep it independent. The one thing that is probably holding them back is potential reputational damage and regulatory hurdles that would probably require them to keep it separate. They're also used to operating in a network where it is possible to retrieve funds, but with bitcoin if the money is stolen it can be almost impossible to get it back.
