Daaamn... I went straight to the last page and read your post. I actually just found out that Thomas Frank went from Brentford to Tottenham. It's prolly a good upgrade for Frank as he has a bigger budget for transfers with the Spurs than Brentford for sure... But what Levy will like about him is his application of 'money ball' concepts he has learned while working with Matthew Benham at Brenrford.
Daniel Levy will love the savings he'll get from that for sure. Lol.
If Totteham still want to be part of big 6 they would need to spend more , getting Frank isn't enough, they need to give him something to work with. He's not going to perform magic with an average player.
True, but Daniel Levy is prolly looking for a way to spend just slightly more and get in the top 6 consistently every year. And there's no other way to do that but with the money ball concepts that Thomas Frank learned while at Brentford.
He'll prolly be able to get one or two expensive transfers but it won't be like most of the top 6 clubs. It might be closer to the way Newcastle does it but slightly lower budget... But we'll see.
