I agree with you that Atalanta should focus on winning Scudetto before thinking to win UCL because nobody knows when will be possible. Any club that wins UCL is already used to winning their domestic league. I don' think that a club will come from nowhere without dominating their domestic league and win UCL. It can only happen in Europa League. I hope that Juric will be able to keep the team on top four even if they don't win Scudetto next season.
That is much more realistic than focusing on chasing the Champions League trophy with the quality of players they currently have and even Inter Milan who have a much better mentality compared to Atalanta also failed to give the best results in the Champions League. We know that the Champions League is not something that is easy to conquer because apart from requiring a number of quality players, experience and also a strong mentality is needed.
Juric should focus on facing Serie-A and try as much as possible to make changes so that Atalanta has a chance to achieve the Scudetto. This is not an easy job because they will face Napoli who have been very enthusiastic in recruiting a number of players to strengthen the team.
