First thing I do is to double check. You don't just send your funds to a website you haven't used before that was your big mistake. By the way how did you get to know about mixero? If someone had introduced you to it then they should have properly guided you and if you had stumbled on it you check to confirm if it is actually legit.
The way you knew you can report your loss here that is the same energy or instinct you should have probably used to ask questions here before sending your funds. I sympathize with you but prevention is always better that cure.
It is possible that @OP just searches the site, and Google ends up listing those site that have Mixero in it. It is just unlucky for @OP that he clicked a scam site but I commend him for testing it out with a little amount of money and not just send his whole fund.
I manually typed the site and I got a literally red flag the whole page is in red and the tab states "Dangerous"

It is always important to double-check any site that does a financial transaction. it is not new to us that lots of phishing sites are lurking on the internet, trying to mimic the legitimate ones and run away with the users money if they stumble on the site and use the service.
