Very true, because, considering how big clubs have recently reinforced their team ahead of next season, it definitely shows that the champion's league is going to be far more competitive than ever. But the thing with football is that we can never tell what will happen. This same PSG has what it takes to win it again, but the mentality and strength of other teams will be a factor. I guess they've made one signing so far this season if I remember correctly, but we all know that getting players is never their problem.

if I were to predict the next champion's league winner judging by what I've seen so far in the club world cup, I don't think any of the big teams will win it. We can only wait and see what the coming season has to offer. And let's not forget that this new UEFA fixture arrangement is far worse than the previous, because even big teams struggle to make it to the 8.
There are always a few teams that can be favored every season regardless of how they performed last season. Real Madrid and Barcelona are the favorites from La Liga, Manchester City and Liverpool from the Premier League, Napoli and Inter from Serie A, Dortmund and Bayern Munich from the Bundesliga and PSG from Ligue 1. I agree that the above teams can fail in the early stages or in the knockout stages, but I am sure one of them will be in the final.

We certainly don't know how the team will perform next season. Each of them will build their team as best they can and they also prepare their best strategy and mentality, so everything is difficult to guess. Arsenal and several non-Champion League title teams certainly cannot be underestimated, they will definitely give everything to prove it.
