The USA always interferes in other countries through another nation which one is neighbor of that . We can already see many cases of this. They have been trying to gain control over all the countries in the Middle East, including Iran, for a long time, just by supporting Israel...
Even though there are some consistencies on the United States using allies to fight proxy wars against their adversaries, I don't know whether it is fair to compare the situation going on between Iran and Israel to other international conflicts like those going on between Ukraine and Russia and also China and Taiwan.
Remember, in the latter cases I have mentioned we would be talking about autocracies seeking to take over countries which have a pretty much functioning system of western democracy, for the sake of their political interest and also for the sake of seizing land from those democratic republics.
Iran and Israel it is not only about autocracy and the right to occupy some geographical place in the middle east, there are some other factors going on like antisemitism and anti sionism being openly accepted in Iran and the fact they continue to declare themselves to be a existencial thread against Israel, there is much religion going on in those conflicts on the middle east, so one cannot easily compare them to what happens in Ukraine or could happen in Taiwan.
