Due to all the surprises that I witnessed last season I wouldn't want to conclude on whom might get to the finals anymore or make any comment concerning any team but would rather wait to see how all the teams would fare, especially the new teams that would be participating in the UCL this season and I expect Liverpool to compete very well due to their recent signings which is aimed at strengthening their squad for next season.

Liverpool still need to introduce players into the squad competently before they can say they were good signings. Liverpool are one of the few teams that keep up the level in terms of transfers. They rarely make mistakes, buy more than one player and are consistently top of the table in various tournaments, including the Champions League, but I think it really takes time here
for me I don't Liverpool need to do much in the transfer market except for the purpose of replacing some of the players that left the club at the end of last season, hence it is Obvious that they would be a great team again this season despite last season's flop against defending champions PSG, also I think there's need for the team to give more chances to their young talents from their academy, these youngsters can sometimes be of great importance to the team if given the opportunity.

What I meant is that they don't make high-profile transfers in the main, they only buy the players they really need in the squad and develop them. This time round it's likely they bought players with the same purpose because the names weren't high-profile so far. But honestly I'd rather see a tight squad for the rest of the season rather than like this time around
