It could have been a lie, that is true. But at the first time, when this thread as opened, it kind of made sense to me that there was some kind of power struggle within the administration of the casino, as there was people from within who ran away with the money of their gamblers and there was OP, who seemly wanted to repair the damage which was already to by the casino who was alledgedly hijacked. I guess that, over seeing how OP did not accomplished to keep his promise to give all the money lost back to gamblers, we could put in doubt the whole story about the power struggle and the hijacking of the casino by rogue members of the staff.
