We don't know if the era of memecoins have ended already. Because there is no movement anymore to most of them. And as Bitcoin goes down, the price of everything is going down as well. The narrative of memecoins likely have ended already and as for the dream of SOL chasers, you need to know what you are up to and the plans that you're getting. Because if you're not going to do anything at all when everything is cheap, you're going to miss the next run. So, if you ever plan to have a SOL, DCA as well and don't engaged with memecoins anymore.

Memecoins are quite hard to predict when it comes to their price in the market. And so with their potential to gain profit. If you want a better assurance with your portfolio, it is still best to start with bitcoin and other top alts. But when you explore meme coins/tokens, the risk is very high because if you happen to not catch the moment where they are selling at a good price, you will likely end up with trash tokens.
I agree, it's always been better to hold Bitcoin than any of them. Because with memecoins, you'll have hard time in getting to know how much they will be priced in and with the price you've bought in, you'll have to determine how much you want. And when greed hits you, you have to take the profit while you can because not at all times they're going to pump hard. We've seen it with so many projects that these memecoins really are just trying to make people lose more money if they don't know how the game goes.
