I was surprised by the opinion in the quote, as it indicated that a VPN could be used with casino approval, which I found somewhat odd. I know that no means of online anonymity can be used, and all service platforms have the ability to detect such practices, as experience has shown on numerous platforms.
In most cases - VPN usage is strictly prohibited in most casinos. Even if a customer gets away with it and doesn't face any issues with using a VPN - it doesn't guarantee that they will remain safe and undetected. The terms and conditions of service should be the official reference in deciding who is at fault and who is not - usually customers who use VPNs to gamble will face problems when they hit a big win.

There are many gambling customers who complain that they have not violated anything and the casino limited their withdrawals to the point of blocking the account - but upon further investigation, the customer violated the terms and conditions either due to VPN use or something else prohibited by the casino.
